Job Brief
The Minister role is essential for providing spiritual leadership, conducting religious worship, and offering moral guidance within the faith community. Responsibilities
- Conduct regular worship services, including sermons, prayers, and rituals, in alignment with religious traditions.
- Provide spiritual and moral guidance to congregation members, addressing their personal and community needs.
- Engage in community outreach programs to promote social justice and support vulnerable populations.
- Offer counseling and support for individuals and families during times of crisis, grief, and transition.
- Facilitate educational programs and religious instruction for various age groups within the community.
- Collaborate with church leadership and committees to develop and implement ministry initiatives and events.
- Maintain a presence in the community to foster relationships and encourage participation in church activities.
- Oversee the administration of sacraments and other religious ceremonies in accordance with doctrinal guidelines.
Requirements
- Master of Divinity (MDiv) or equivalent theological degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience in pastoral ministry or a related field, with a strong foundation in theological principles.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating compassion and empathy in all interactions.
- Familiarity with church administration and community outreach best practices.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and spiritual growth within the faith community.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and community organizations.
- Licensure or ordination, as required by the denomination or faith tradition.
