Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Operate heavy machinery, including hydraulic shovels and excavators, to excavate and transport materials.

- Load and unload materials efficiently while adhering to safety regulations and operational protocols.
- Monitor equipment performance and report any issues or malfunctions to maintenance staff.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant vocational training is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Mining Shovel Operator or in a similar role within the mining industry.
- Valid operator’s license for heavy machinery and relevant certifications.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills for machinery operation.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the mining sector.
- Ability to work in physically demanding conditions and maintain focus under pressure.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as required.
