Job Brief
As a Middle School Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in educating students with learning, emotional, or physical disabilities. Responsibilities

- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to create a supportive learning environment.
- Provide instruction in basic academic subjects, social skills, and daily living skills.

- Maintain accurate records of students’ progress and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in special education.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Special Education or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
- State certification or licensure in Special Education.
- Experience working with middle school students with diverse disabilities.
- Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
- Proficiency in using educational technology and assistive devices.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in special education practices.
