Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Metal Stamper to join our production team. The ideal candidate will have experience in setting up, operating, and tending to machinery for the stamping, bending, and shaping of metal and plastic materials. Proficiency in interpreting blueprints and technical drawings, along with a strong attention to detail, will be essential for maintaining quality standards and ensuring production efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate metal stamping machines for various processes including cutting, shearing, and punching.
- Monitor machine operations to ensure adherence to specifications and optimize production flow.
- Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting on stamping equipment to minimize downtime.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Maintain accurate production logs and reports, documenting any discrepancies or issues.
- Collaborate with team members to improve manufacturing processes and enhance product quality.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Metal Stamper or in a similar manufacturing role.
- Familiarity with various metal stamping techniques and machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality control.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical certifications are a plus.
