Job Brief
The Master Certified RV Technician is responsible for diagnosing, inspecting, adjusting, and repairing various recreational vehicles, including travel trailers. This role requires in-depth expertise in gas, electrical, hydraulic, plumbing, and chassis/towing systems, along with proficiency in repairing generators, appliances, and interior components. Ideal candidates possess extensive experience in the RV repair industry and exhibit strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical issues in recreational vehicles to ensure optimal performance.
- Inspect and evaluate RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic components.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, and overhauls on gas systems, towing apparatus, and chassis.
- Repair or replace appliances, generators, and interior fixtures within recreational vehicles.
- Conduct routine maintenance and inspections to uphold safety and regulatory standards.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating repair options and project timelines effectively.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices in RV repair and maintenance.
- Collaborate with team members to perform customized van conversions tailored to client specifications.
Requirements
- Master Certification from an accredited RV technician program.
- Proven experience in RV repair, with a minimum of 5 years in the industry.
- Strong understanding of RV electrical, plumbing, and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and repair equipment specific to recreational vehicles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills for interacting with customers and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
