Job Brief
The Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) Planning Specialist plays a critical role in coordinating and managing communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for effective air, ground, and naval operations. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of military tactics, emergency response planning, and real-time data analysis. Ideal candidates will possess strong analytical skills, the ability to interpret complex tactical situations, and experience in high-pressure environments, ensuring seamless communication between diverse military branches and decision-makers.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor advanced communications, detection, and weapons systems for effective command and control of MAGTF operations.
- Maintain and relay critical communications between air, naval, and ground forces to ensure operational success.
- Implement emergency response plans for both natural and wartime disasters, enhancing operational readiness.
- Relay command center information to military and government officials, facilitating informed decision-making.
- Monitor and assess surveillance and detection systems, including air defense systems, to maintain situational awareness.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, making recommendations to superiors based on real-time data analysis.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to support mission objectives.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in military science, defense studies, or a related field preferred.
- Proven experience in military operations, planning, and tactical analysis within a MAGTF framework.
- Strong familiarity with communication and surveillance technologies used in military operations.
- Certification in relevant military systems and processes is advantageous.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to convey complex information clearly.
- Proficient in data analysis and interpretation, with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and in dynamic environments.
