Job Brief
The Marina Club Manager oversees the daily operations of a recreational facility, ensuring a seamless experience for all guests. This role requires strategic planning and execution of entertainment and recreational activities, including the management of facilities such as docks, cruise ships, and parks. Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate entertainment and recreational activities to enhance guest experiences.
- Manage daily operations of the marina, including maintenance of facilities and equipment.
- Supervise staff, providing training and support to ensure high-quality service delivery.
- Develop marketing strategies to promote marina events and activities to attract visitors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations in marina operations.
- Monitor financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and expense management.
- Build strong relationships with local businesses and community organizations to enhance marina visibility.
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints promptly and effectively.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in facility management, preferably in a marina or recreational setting.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective guest and staff engagement.
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting and reporting.
- Knowledge of marina operations, safety regulations, and customer service best practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as required.
- Certifications in First Aid, CPR, or similar are a plus.
