Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Install, dismantle, and relocate machinery and heavy equipment according to layout plans and blueprints.
- Diagnose mechanical issues and perform troubleshooting on various equipment.
- Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on machinery to ensure optimal performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve machinery layout and efficiency.
- Utilize precision tools and instruments to align and calibrate machines.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior maintenance staff and apprentices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in Millwright or related field preferred.
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Millwright or similar role in an industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulic systems, and pneumatic systems.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Familiarity with common maintenance tools, equipment, and safety practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Possession of relevant certifications (e.g., forklift operation, safety training) is a plus.
