Job Brief
As a Machine Erector, you will be responsible for the installation, dismantling, and relocation of machinery and heavy equipment. You will work from layout plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and alignment of equipment. Responsibilities
- Install and assemble machinery and equipment based on technical drawings and blueprints.
- Dismantle and relocate machinery as needed for maintenance or reconfiguration.
- Perform inspections and tests on machinery to ensure functionality and adherence to safety standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to execute equipment installations efficiently.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and specialized machinery for assembly tasks.
- Document installation processes and maintain accurate records of equipment specifications.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while working on-site.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Machine Erector or in a similar role within the manufacturing or construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of machinery installation procedures and safety standards.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Ability to operate various hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Physical stamina and ability to lift heavy equipment as required.
- Certification in relevant technical fields (e.g., welding, hydraulics) is a plus.
