Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
  • Manage workflow and allocate resources effectively to optimize production efficiency.
  • Generate reports on production metrics, performance, and quality issues to identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance and skill development.
  • Maintain inventory levels of assembly materials and components to support uninterrupted production.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a machine assembler or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
  • Strong knowledge of assembly processes, machinery, and production techniques.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
  • Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
  • Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills for reporting and data entry.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
