Job Brief
As a Machine Assembler Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing and coordinating the activities of production and operating workers within a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of machine assemblers, fabricators, and operators to meet production targets.
- Implement and monitor adherence to safety protocols and quality control standards throughout the assembly process.
- Train and mentor team members on assembly techniques, equipment operation, and safety practices.
- Manage workflow and allocate resources effectively to optimize production efficiency.
- Generate reports on production metrics, performance, and quality issues to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and ensure operational efficiency.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance team performance and skill development.
- Maintain inventory levels of assembly materials and components to support uninterrupted production.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a machine assembler or in a similar supervisory role within a manufacturing setting.
- Strong knowledge of assembly processes, machinery, and production techniques.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
- Familiarity with quality control standards and safety regulations in manufacturing environments.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration across departments.
- Proficiency in using assembly tools and equipment, as well as basic computer skills for reporting and data entry.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in manufacturing or engineering preferred.
