The M48 M60 Armor Crewman operates advanced armored vehicles, including tanks, light armor, and amphibious assault vehicles, in diverse combat environments. Responsibilities
- Operate M48 and M60 tanks, ensuring optimal performance in both land and aquatic combat scenarios.
- Conduct regular maintenance and troubleshooting of targeting and firing systems to ensure operational readiness.
- Utilize advanced onboard communications and navigation equipment for effective mission coordination.
- Transport personnel and equipment safely and efficiently in challenging combat environments.
- Operate and maintain auxiliary weapons, including machine guns and grenade launchers, for defensive and offensive operations.
- Collaborate with team members to execute tactical maneuvers and strategies during missions.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and operational guidelines to minimize risks during vehicle operation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional military training in armored vehicle operation preferred.
- Proven experience in operating and maintaining combat vehicles, ideally M48 and M60 models.
- Strong understanding of targeting systems, communication technologies, and navigation systems.
- Ability to operate auxiliary weaponry, including knowledge of maintenance and safety procedures.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to perform under high-stress situations.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the demands of combat environments.
- Valid military driver’s license and relevant certifications in armored vehicle operation.
