The Lunchroom Attendant plays a vital role in ensuring a smooth and efficient food service experience for patrons. This position involves facilitating the dining environment by cleaning tables, serving beverages, and replenishing supplies. Responsibilities
- Facilitate food service by setting up and breaking down dining areas efficiently.
- Clean and sanitize tables, removing dirty dishes and utensils promptly.
- Replace soiled table linens and replenish supplies of clean linens, silverware, glassware, and dishes.
- Set tables according to standards, ensuring an inviting dining atmosphere.
- Supply the service bar with food items and assist in serving patrons beverages such as water, coffee, and condiments.
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and address patron requests.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by reporting low stock levels of dining supplies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is an asset.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining excellent customer service.
- Familiarity with sanitation and safety practices in food service.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items as needed.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
