Job Brief
As a Linoleum Installer, you will specialize in applying blocks, strips, or sheets of shock-absorbing, sound-deadening, or decorative linoleum coverings to various floor surfaces. Responsibilities
- Measure and cut linoleum materials to fit designated areas with precision.
- Prepare surfaces by cleaning, leveling, and repairing subfloors as necessary.
- Install linoleum sheets, tiles, or rolls in accordance with project specifications.
- Utilize adhesives and other bonding agents to secure flooring materials effectively.
- Ensure proper alignment and pattern matching during installation for aesthetic appeal.
- Inspect completed work for quality assurance and make adjustments as needed.
- Advise clients on maintenance and care for newly installed linoleum flooring.
- Maintain tools and equipment, ensuring they are in good working condition.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Linoleum Installer or in a similar flooring installation role.
- Strong understanding of flooring materials, including linoleum types and installation techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools specific to flooring installation.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of safety protocols and best practices in flooring installation.
- Physical stamina and strength to handle heavy materials and perform manual labor.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to job sites.
