Job Brief
As a Licensed Electrician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with relevant electrical codes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of electrical systems and demonstrate expertise in servicing various installations, including street lights and control systems. This role requires hands-on experience and a commitment to safety and quality in all electrical work.
Responsibilities
- Install and maintain electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues to ensure optimal functionality and safety.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on electrical systems.
- Ensure all electrical work complies with local and national electrical codes and regulations.
- Install, service, and repair street lighting and intercom systems as required.
- Collaborate with contractors and other trades to coordinate electrical work on construction projects.
- Document work performed and maintain accurate records of electrical installations and repairs.
Requirements
- Valid electrician’s license and relevant certifications.
- Proven experience as a licensed electrician in residential and commercial settings.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with clients and team members.
- Familiarity with safety protocols and regulations in electrical work.
