Responsibilities

- Maintain and organize case files, ensuring all documents are accurate and up-to-date.
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, court dates, and other appointments for attorneys.
- Communicate effectively with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals.
- Draft correspondence and legal documents under attorney supervision.
- Stay updated on changes in laws and regulations relevant to ongoing cases.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in paralegal studies or a related field; bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Proven experience as a legal assistant or in a similar role within a law firm.
- Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
- Proficiency in legal research tools and software (e.g., Westlaw, LexisNexis).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- High level of confidentiality and professionalism in handling sensitive information.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
