Job Brief

As a Lead Abatement Worker, you will play a crucial role in identifying, removing, and safely disposing of hazardous materials, including lead-based paint, asbestos, and contaminated soil.   • Operate earth-moving equipment and trucks to transport hazardous waste to designated disposal sites.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in hazardous materials handling preferred.
  • Certification in lead abatement and hazardous materials handling is required.
  • Proven experience in lead abatement, asbestos removal, or related environmental work.
  • Ability to operate heavy machinery, including trucks and earth-moving equipment.
  • Strong understanding of OSHA regulations and environmental safety standards.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform manual labor and work in confined spaces.
