Job Brief
The Landscape Installation Foreman plays a critical role in supervising and coordinating landscaping and groundskeeping activities. Responsibilities
- Supervise daily landscaping operations, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.
- Coordinate and schedule work assignments for team members engaged in landscape installation and maintenance.
- Review contracts to determine service requirements, equipment needs, and workforce allocation.
- Prepare accurate cost estimates based on labor, materials, and equipment expenses for potential projects.
- Communicate effectively with clients to address inquiries and provide expert advice on landscaping solutions.
- Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
- Maintain inventory of landscaping supplies and equipment, ordering as necessary to meet project demands.
- Train and mentor team members in landscaping techniques, safety protocols, and best practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in landscaping or horticulture preferred.
- Proven experience in landscape installation, maintenance, and team supervision.
- Strong knowledge of plants, landscape design, and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with landscaping tools, equipment, and safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to operate landscaping vehicles and equipment.
