Job Brief
As a Kitchen Designer, you will be responsible for creating functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that cater to client needs and preferences. This role requires expertise in space planning, material selection, and interior design principles. Responsibilities
- Conduct client consultations to assess their needs, preferences, and budget for kitchen design projects.
- Create detailed kitchen layouts and floor plans using industry-standard design software.
- Select materials, finishes, and fixtures that align with client vision while adhering to safety and usability standards.
- Collaborate with architects and contractors to ensure designs are implemented accurately and effectively.
- Prepare and present design proposals, including 3D renderings and mood boards, to clients for feedback and approval.
- Stay updated on design trends, materials, and technologies to provide innovative solutions.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and budgets are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support throughout the design and installation process.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Kitchen Designer or in a similar role, with a strong portfolio showcasing previous projects.
- Proficiency in kitchen design software, such as 20-20 Design, AutoCAD, or SketchUp.
- Knowledge of kitchen design principles, materials, and current trends in the industry.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective client and team collaboration.
- Attention to detail and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
- Certification from a recognized design association (e.g., NKBA, ASID) is a plus.
