Job Brief

The Keg Filler is responsible for operating and maintaining keg filling machinery to ensure efficient production and packaging of beverages for storage or shipment. This role involves preparing product for distribution, adhering to safety and quality standards, and ensuring optimal machine performance. A successful Keg Filler will possess strong attention to detail, mechanical aptitude, and experience in a manufacturing or beverage production environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor keg filling machines to ensure accurate filling and packaging of beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the filling area and equipment to comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on keg filling machinery to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect filled kegs for quality and proper sealing prior to shipment.
  • Document production metrics and maintain accurate records of filling activities.
  • Collaborate with team members to improve efficiency and production workflows.
  • Adhere to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and quality control protocols.
  • Participate in safety training and contribute to a safe work environment.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; relevant technical training is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing, bottling, or beverage production role preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair machinery.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality assurance.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
