Job Brief
The Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) plays a critical role in coordinating and integrating air support into ground operations. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor communications, detection, and weapons systems essential for controlling air, ground, and naval operations.
- Maintain and relay critical communications between air, naval, and ground forces during operations.
- Implement emergency plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios to ensure operational readiness.
- Relay command center information to high-level military and government decision-makers effectively.
- Monitor and assess surveillance and detection systems, including air defense mechanisms.
- Interpret and evaluate tactical situations, providing recommendations to superiors for mission success.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to facilitate accurate strikes.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller or in a similar military role.
- Certification from a recognized JTAC training program or equivalent military training.
- Strong understanding of military operations, tactics, and weapon systems.
- Exceptional communication skills for effective liaison between diverse military units.
- Ability to analyze and interpret complex tactical scenarios in high-pressure situations.
- Familiarity with surveillance technologies and air defense systems.
- Proficient in operating advanced weapons targeting and launch systems.
