Job Brief
As a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC), you will be responsible for executing and coordinating air, ground, and naval operations during combat missions. This role requires extensive experience in tactical communication and the ability to relay critical information between military branches. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor advanced communication, detection, and weapons systems for effective joint operations.
- Maintain clear and accurate communications between air, naval, and ground forces.
- Implement emergency plans for both natural and wartime disasters to ensure mission readiness.
- Relay command center information to high-level military and government decision-makers to facilitate informed decision-making.
- Monitor and interpret surveillance and detection systems, including air defense, to assess threats and opportunities.
- Evaluate tactical situations and provide actionable recommendations to superiors based on real-time data analysis.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to execute precise and successful attacks.
- Conduct training and mentorship for junior personnel in joint terminal attack procedures and combat tactics.
Requirements
- Military experience with a focus on joint terminal attack coordination or related roles.
- Certification as a Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) is highly preferred.
- Proficient in the use of communication systems and tactical data links.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data from surveillance and reconnaissance sources.
- Excellent decision-making and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure environments.
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse military teams and understand joint operations.
- Knowledge of weapons systems, targeting procedures, and airspace management protocols.
- Willingness to undergo continuous training and maintain up-to-date knowledge of military tactics and technology.
