Job Brief

The Joint Tactical Ground Station (JTAGS)/Multi Mission Mobile Processor (M3P) System Operator/Maintainer plays a critical role in monitoring and operating essential communication, detection, and weapons systems to support air, ground, and naval operations. Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor JTAGS/M3P systems to ensure effective communication between air, ground, and naval forces.
  • Maintain and relay critical communications to support military operations and strategic decision-making.
  • Implement emergency response plans for natural disasters and wartime scenarios, ensuring operational continuity.
  • Relay command center information to military and government leadership, providing real-time situational awareness.
  • Monitor surveillance and detection systems, including air defense, to identify and evaluate tactical situations.
  • Interpret data from various sources and make informed recommendations to superiors for tactical decision-making.
  • Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch systems with precision and attention to detail.
  • Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of systems to ensure optimal functionality and readiness.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical training in military operations or electronics preferred.
  • Experience operating and maintaining JTAGS/M3P systems or similar military communication and detection systems.
  • Strong understanding of military communication protocols and tactical operations.
  • Proficiency in interpreting surveillance data and situational analysis.
  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced environments, maintaining focus during high-stakes operations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective coordination with team members and command centers.
  • Certifications in relevant systems or technologies are highly desirable.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends, as needed for mission readiness.
