Job Brief
The Joint Strategic Plans and Policy Officer plays a critical role in developing, coordinating, and implementing strategic plans and policies within military operations. Responsibilities
- Develop and recommend strategic plans and policies to enhance operational effectiveness across joint military operations.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of military strategies and policies to inform decision-making processes.
- Collaborate with various military branches and agencies to ensure cohesive implementation of strategic initiatives.
- Facilitate interagency coordination and communication to support joint operations and policy objectives.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for senior leadership and stakeholders.
- Monitor and assess the effectiveness of strategic plans, making adjustments as necessary.
- Lead workshops and training sessions to disseminate policy changes and strategic priorities.
Requirements
- Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Military Science, International Relations, Public Policy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Significant experience in military operations, strategic planning, and policy development.
- Proven ability to analyze complex data and generate actionable insights.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Familiarity with joint military operations and interagency collaboration frameworks.
- Certification in strategic planning or project management is a plus.
