Job Brief
We are seeking a knowledgeable Insecticide Expert with extensive experience in pest control and chemical application. The ideal candidate will be responsible for applying or releasing insecticides and toxic gases, setting traps, and implementing pest management strategies to effectively eliminate and prevent infestations in residential and commercial properties. Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outdoor areas to identify pest infestations and assess potential risks.
- Apply insecticides and chemical solutions in accordance with safety regulations and environmental guidelines.
- Set traps and monitor pest control devices to ensure effective removal of vermin and pests.
- Develop and implement integrated pest management (IPM) strategies tailored to specific environments.
- Maintain accurate records of pest control activities, chemical usage, and observations during inspections.
- Advise clients on preventive measures and pest control best practices to minimize future infestations.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and advancements in pest control technologies.
- Train and mentor junior staff on pest identification, treatment methods, and safety protocols.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Insecticide Expert or in a similar pest control role.
- In-depth knowledge of insecticides, chemical safety, and pest biology.
- Relevant certifications in pest control and chemical application.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with state and federal regulations regarding pest control and chemical usage.
