Job Brief
The Industrial Conveyor Belt Repairer is responsible for the repair, installation, adjustment, and maintenance of industrial production and processing machinery, including conveyor systems and heavy equipment. Responsibilities
- Repair and maintain industrial conveyor belts and associated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Install, adjust, and dismantle machinery and heavy equipment according to engineering specifications.
- Conduct regular inspections and preventative maintenance on machinery to ensure operational efficiency.
- Identify mechanical issues and implement effective troubleshooting techniques to resolve problems.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize machinery performance and enhance production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities performed.
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in training and mentoring junior repair technicians as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as an Industrial Conveyor Belt Repairer or similar role in manufacturing or processing environments.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, conveyor operations, and maintenance practices.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools related to machinery repair and maintenance.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents, schematics, and blueprints.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices for industrial environments.
- Relevant certifications in machinery maintenance or mechanical repair preferred.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in confined spaces as required.
