Job Brief
As an In Tube Conversion Technician, you will play a critical role in the maintenance and operation of advanced weaponry systems. Your primary responsibilities will include targeting, firing, and maintaining various weapon systems designed to neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. The ideal candidate will possess hands-on experience with artillery systems, a strong understanding of ammunition handling, and expertise in operating sophisticated targeting and firing computer systems. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain weapon systems, including guns, cannons, and howitzers for ground combat operations.
- Conduct preventive and routine maintenance on artillery and related equipment to ensure operational readiness.
- Test, inspect, and store ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes in compliance with safety protocols.
- Establish and maintain radio and wire communications for effective coordination during operations.
- Utilize weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to accurately engage enemy targets.
- Collaborate with team members to execute field operations and implement tactical strategies.
- Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities and operational logs to ensure accountability.
- Participate in training exercises to enhance skills and knowledge of weapon systems and safety practices.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in artillery operations preferred.
- Proven experience with weapon systems and artillery maintenance in a military or defense environment.
- Strong knowledge of ammunition types, handling procedures, and safety regulations.
- Technical proficiency in operating targeting and firing computer systems.
- Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations and adapt to rapidly changing environments.
- Excellent communication skills for coordination with team members and command structures.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining safety standards.
- Certification in weapons handling and safety protocols is a plus.
