Job Brief

The In Flight Technician plays a crucial role in ensuring the operational success of various missions, including combat, reconnaissance, transport, and search and rescue. Responsibilities

  • Operate aircraft communications and detection equipment, including establishing satellite linkages and managing enemy communication jamming.
  • Conduct comprehensive preflight, in-flight, and postflight inspections of onboard equipment to ensure operational readiness.
  • Operate and maintain aircraft weapons and defensive systems, ensuring they are fully functional for mission execution.
  • Manage in-flight refueling systems, coordinating fuel transfers during missions.
  • Execute aircraft safety and emergency procedures, providing critical support during high-stakes situations.
  • Compute and verify weight and balance data for passengers, cargo, fuel, and emergency equipment.
  • Conduct cargo and personnel drops, ensuring precision and adherence to mission protocols.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in aviation or aerospace technology preferred.
  • Proven experience as an In Flight Technician or in a similar role within military or aviation environments.
  • Strong understanding of aircraft systems, including communications, navigation, and weapons systems.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and make quick decisions in emergency situations.
  • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with other crew members.
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and procedures in aviation operations.
  • Valid pilot’s license or equivalent aviation certification is a plus.
