Job Brief
We are seeking a skilled Hydraulic Plumber to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in assembling, installing, altering, and repairing pipelines and pipe systems that transport water, steam, air, or other liquids or gases. This role involves the installation of heating and cooling equipment, as well as mechanical control systems, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and safely. Responsibilities
- Assemble and install a variety of piping systems, including those for water, gas, and steam.
- Alter existing pipeline systems to improve efficiency or comply with new regulations.
- Repair damaged pipelines and pipe systems to prevent leaks and maintain system integrity.
- Install heating and cooling equipment, ensuring proper connectivity to existing systems.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot issues within hydraulic systems and recommend solutions.
- Collaborate with contractors and other tradespeople to complete projects safely and on time.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and project timelines.
- Ensure compliance with local plumbing codes and safety regulations throughout all installations and repairs.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Hydraulic Plumber or similar role in the plumbing industry.
- In-depth knowledge of hydraulic systems, plumbing codes, and safety regulations.
- Valid plumbing license or certification, as required by local regulations.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate hand and power tools safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor in various work environments.
