Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee daily activities and schedules for residents in dormitories or group homes.
- Maintain household records, including resident files and incident reports.
- Order supplies and monitor inventory for essential items and furnishings.
- Assess and coordinate maintenance and repair needs for the facility.
- Assign rooms and manage resident placements effectively.
- Provide support and guidance to residents, addressing issues or conflicts as they arise.
- Refer residents to counseling services or additional resources as necessary.
- Promote a positive, inclusive, and respectful environment among residents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in social work, psychology, or related field is preferred.
- Experience in residential life, youth mentoring, or a similar role.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse populations.
- Basic knowledge of conflict resolution and crisis intervention techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities in a dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in maintaining accurate records and documentation.
- First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
