Job Brief
The Hotel Shuttle Driver is responsible for providing safe and efficient transportation for hotel guests to and from specified locations. This role involves operating a shuttle vehicle on a scheduled basis, ensuring timely arrivals and departures, and delivering exceptional customer service. Ideal candidates will possess previous driving experience, a valid driver’s license, and excellent communication skills, making them key representatives of the hotel’s hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Transport passengers safely and efficiently to designated locations, such as airports, local attractions, and medical facilities.
- Maintain knowledge of local traffic laws and regulations to ensure compliance during transportation.
- Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage or personal items.
- Provide excellent customer service by being courteous, friendly, and approachable.
- Perform regular vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Manage schedules and communicate delays or changes effectively to passengers.
- Collect fares and maintain accurate records of transportation services provided.
- Respond to passenger inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during transportation.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience as a shuttle driver, taxi driver, or in a similar transportation role.
- Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively and adhere to scheduled routes.
- Basic mechanical knowledge to address minor vehicle issues.
- Certifications in defensive driving or passenger transport preferred.
