Job Brief
The Hopper Feeder plays a critical role in the production process by efficiently feeding materials into machines or equipment. Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor hopper feeding equipment to ensure optimal material flow.
- Load and unload materials into production machinery or storage areas.
- Inspect materials for quality and report any discrepancies to supervisors.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
- Follow all safety guidelines and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Document production data and material usage accurately.
- Assist in routine maintenance and cleaning of equipment to ensure longevity.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machinery operation is a plus.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment preferred.
- Basic mechanical skills and familiarity with industrial equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials as needed.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in a production setting.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and overtime as required.
