Job Brief

Responsibilities

  • Set up and calibrate wood sawing machines to ensure precise cuts and optimal production quality.
  • Operate various wood sawing equipment, including band saws, circular saws, and CNC machinery.
  • Monitor machine operations for safety, efficiency, and adherence to specifications.
  • Inspect and measure finished products to ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot woodworking machinery to minimize downtime and improve productivity.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in woodworking or machine operation is a plus.
  • Proven experience as a sawyer or in a similar role within the lumber or woodworking industry.
