Responsibilities

  • Guide ships safely through congested harbor areas, ensuring compliance with maritime regulations.
  • Supervise docking and undocking operations, coordinating with tugboats and other support vessels.
  • Assess weather and tidal conditions to optimize vessel navigation and safety.
  • Collaborate with port authorities and ship captains to develop safe transit plans.
  • Conduct vessel inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Provide real-time advice and instructions to crew members during critical navigation phases.

Requirements
