Job Brief
The Greenskeeper Laborer plays a crucial role in maintaining the aesthetic and functional quality of landscaped areas. Responsibilities
- Perform routine mowing, trimming, and edging of lawns and landscaped areas.
- Assist with the installation and maintenance of irrigation systems, including sprinkler installation.
- Prepare soil and plant various types of flowers, shrubs, and trees to enhance landscape design.
- Lay sod and maintain healthy grass conditions through proper watering and fertilization techniques.
- Utilize hand and power tools, ensuring safe and efficient operation at all times.
- Conduct regular inspections of grounds to identify and address maintenance needs.
- Adhere to environmental regulations and safety protocols while performing landscaping tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to execute landscape improvement projects effectively.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in landscaping, horticulture, or grounds maintenance is advantageous.
- Proficient in the use of hand tools, power tools, and landscaping equipment.
- Basic knowledge of plant care, soil management, and landscape design principles.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting heavy materials and working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Valid driver’s license may be required for transportation of equipment and materials.
