Job Brief
The Glue Machine Operator is responsible for operating and tending to various bonding machines that utilize adhesives to join materials for further processing or to create finished products. Responsibilities
- Operate bonding machines to apply adhesives to materials, ensuring optimal adhesion and quality standards.
- Monitor machine operations and adjust settings to maintain consistent production output and product quality.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure compliance with specifications and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of bonding equipment to minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate production records and report any issues to the supervisory team.
- Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members to optimize production efficiency and quality control.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in machine operation preferred.
- Proven experience as a machine operator, preferably with bonding or adhesive equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Familiarity with various adhesives and bonding techniques.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and specifications.
- Solid understanding of safety standards and practices in a manufacturing setting.
