Job Brief
The Glue Line Operator is responsible for operating and tending bonding machines that utilize adhesives to join various materials for further processing or the creation of finished products. Responsibilities
- Operate bonding machines to apply adhesives for joining materials effectively.
- Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal operational efficiency.
- Inspect finished products for quality assurance and compliance with specifications.
- Adjust machine settings as necessary to accommodate different materials and specifications.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve operational issues.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Document production data and maintain accurate records of materials used and production output.
- Perform routine maintenance on machinery to ensure reliability and performance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machine operation is a plus.
- Proven experience as a Glue Line Operator or in a similar adhesive bonding role.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate various types of bonding machinery.
- Familiarity with different adhesives and their applications.
- Excellent attention to detail with a focus on quality control.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a manufacturing setting.
- Basic mathematical skills for measuring and calculating material quantities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to adapt to changing production needs.
