Responsibilities
- Conduct geophysical surveys to collect and interpret data for engineering and construction projects.
- Assist in the creation of topographical maps and diagrams, utilizing source data such as aerial photography and satellite imagery.
- Verify the accuracy of survey data and ensure effective communication of geographical information.
- Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and cartographers to support project objectives.
- Maintain equipment and ensure all surveying tools are calibrated and functioning properly.
- Document survey results and prepare comprehensive reports for project stakeholders.
- Adhere to safety protocols and industry regulations during fieldwork and data collection.
Requirements
- Associate’s degree in Geosciences, Surveying, Geography, or a related field.
- Experience with surveying instruments and mapping techniques.
- Proficient in GIS software and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy in data interpretation.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and terrains.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Certification in surveying or geospatial technologies is a plus.
