The Geographic Area Intelligence Officer plays a critical role in military operations by analyzing geographical data to enhance tactical planning and decision-making. Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive geographic intelligence analysis to support mission planning and execution.

- Collaborate with tactical operations teams to assess and interpret environmental and cultural influences on military objectives.
- Provide timely and actionable intelligence briefings to military leadership and decision-makers.
- Monitor and evaluate changes in geographic conditions and political landscapes that may affect operations.
- Develop and maintain intelligence databases and documentation of geographic data.
- Train and mentor junior intelligence personnel on best practices in geographic analysis and reporting.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geography, Intelligence Studies, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in military intelligence or related field.
- Proficiency in GIS software and spatial analysis tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear insights.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting to senior leadership.
- Knowledge of military operations and tactical planning processes.
- Ability to work collaboratively in high-pressure environments and adapt to changing situations.
