Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Conduct geochemical analyses of soil, water, and rock samples to determine composition and properties.
- Utilize advanced laboratory equipment and techniques to perform experiments and interpret results.
- Collaborate with geologists and environmental scientists to evaluate geological formations for resource potential.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations on research findings and recommendations for stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of strategies for waste disposal and land reclamation projects.
- Monitor and assess the impact of environmental changes on geological resources.
- Stay updated on advancements in geochemistry and related fields to enhance research methodologies.
- Participate in fieldwork, collecting samples and data to support ongoing geological studies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Geochemistry, Geology, Environmental Science, or a related field; Master’s or PhD preferred.
- Proven experience in geochemical analysis and laboratory techniques.
- Strong understanding of geological processes and mineralogy.
- Familiarity with software tools for data analysis and modeling.
- Excellent communication skills for presenting complex information clearly.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Knowledge of environmental regulations and sustainable practices.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Geologist) are a plus.
