Job Brief
As a Foot Orthopedist, you will play a pivotal role in diagnosing and treating diseases, deformities, and injuries of the human foot and ankle. Responsibilities
- Diagnose and evaluate foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, infections, and deformities.
- Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on patient needs and medical history.
- Perform surgical procedures as necessary, including corrective surgeries and joint replacements.
- Utilize advanced imaging techniques to assess and monitor foot health.
- Educate patients and their families on foot care, rehabilitation, and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and surgical techniques.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with healthcare regulations.
Requirements
- Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
- Completion of a residency program in foot and ankle surgery or podiatric medicine.
- Board certification in podiatric surgery or relevant specialty.
- Strong knowledge of foot anatomy, biomechanics, and pathology.
- Excellent surgical skills and proficiency in minimally invasive techniques.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Current state licensure and active membership in relevant professional organizations.
