Job Brief

As a dedicated Foot Doctor, also known as a podiatrist, you will diagnose and treat various diseases and deformities of the human foot and lower extremities. Your expertise in foot health will involve assessing patient conditions, recommending treatments, and performing surgical procedures when necessary. Ideal candidates will possess a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree, alongside strong clinical skills and a passion for enhancing patient mobility and quality of life.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of patients’ foot and ankle conditions.
  • Diagnose and develop treatment plans for foot-related diseases, deformities, and injuries.
  • Perform surgical procedures, including corrective surgeries and soft tissue procedures.
  • Provide patient education on foot care, prevention strategies, and rehabilitation techniques.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including treatment outcomes and follow-up plans.
  • Stay updated on the latest advancements in podiatric medicine and treatment options.

Requirements

  • Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM) degree from an accredited institution.
  • State licensure to practice podiatry and board certification preferred.
  • Proven experience in diagnosing and treating foot and ankle conditions.
  • Strong surgical skills and proficiency in advanced podiatric techniques.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients.
