Job Brief
As a Floral Decorator, you will be responsible for designing, cutting, and arranging live, dried, or artificial flowers and foliage to create stunning floral displays for various occasions. Responsibilities
- Design and create innovative floral arrangements for events, weddings, and corporate functions.
- Cut, condition, and prepare flowers and greenery for arrangements and displays.
- Consult with clients to understand their vision and preferences for floral decor.
- Maintain inventory of floral supplies and manage ordering processes to ensure availability.
- Implement current design trends and techniques to enhance floral offerings.
- Ensure all arrangements meet quality standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with other decorators and event planners to execute cohesive designs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; formal training in floral design preferred.
- Proven experience as a Floral Decorator or in a related role.
- Strong knowledge of floral design techniques and color theory.
- Excellent artistic and creative skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiarity with floral design software and tools is a plus.
- Physical stamina to handle flowers and materials, including lifting and standing for long periods.
