Job Brief

As a Flight Simulator Instructor, you will play a crucial role in the training and development of pilots in a simulated environment. Responsibilities

  • Provide constructive feedback and assessment to students on their performance and progress in flight simulations.
  • Maintain and operate flight simulation equipment, ensuring functionality and accuracy of the simulation experience.
  • Stay updated on the latest aviation regulations, technologies, and instructional techniques to enhance training effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other instructors and aviation personnel to ensure a cohesive training environment.
  • Prepare and maintain training documentation, including lesson plans and student performance records.
  • Facilitate ground school instruction, covering theoretical knowledge necessary for flight operations.

Requirements

  • Valid FAA Flight Instructor Certificate (CFI) or equivalent certification from a recognized aviation authority.
  • Extensive knowledge of flight operations, aircraft systems, and aviation regulations.
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in flight training or a related aviation field.
  • Proficient in the use of flight simulation software and training technologies.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex concepts effectively.
  • Ability to assess and adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles.
  • Experience with curriculum development and instructional design is a plus.
