Job Brief
As a Fire Sprinkler Installer, you will be responsible for assembling, installing, altering, and repairing pipelines and pipe systems that transport water, steam, air, or other liquids and gases. This role involves working with heating and cooling equipment, mechanical control systems, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of fire protection systems, relevant experience in installation, and exceptional problem-solving skills.
Responsibilities
- Assemble and install fire sprinkler systems in accordance with local codes and regulations.
- Inspect and test fire sprinkler systems to ensure proper operation and compliance.
- Alter and repair existing pipelines or pipe systems, including troubleshooting issues.
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to determine system specifications.
- Maintain accurate records of installation and maintenance activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all installation and repair work.
- Provide customer service support and address client inquiries regarding sprinkler systems.
- Stay up-to-date with industry standards, regulations, and best practices in fire safety.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification in fire protection preferred.
- Proven experience as a Fire Sprinkler Installer or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of fire sprinkler systems and installation techniques.
- Familiarity with relevant local, state, and national fire codes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background checks and drug screenings.
