Job Brief
The Fire Extinguisher Installer is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire extinguishing systems in compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Responsibilities
- Install and assemble fire extinguishing systems in various commercial and residential settings.
- Conduct regular maintenance and inspections of fire extinguishers to ensure optimal functionality.
- Diagnose and repair malfunctioning fire safety equipment, providing timely solutions.
- Maintain accurate records of installations, inspections, and repairs to ensure compliance with regulations.
- Educate clients on the proper use and maintenance of fire extinguishers and related equipment.
- Collaborate with safety personnel to develop and implement fire safety plans and protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends, technology, and regulations pertaining to fire safety equipment.
- Provide exceptional customer service while addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding fire protection systems.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional vocational training in fire safety systems is preferred.
- Proven experience as a fire extinguisher installer or in a related field.
- Strong understanding of fire safety codes and regulations.
- Technical skills in using installation tools and equipment specific to fire protection systems.
- Certification in fire extinguisher maintenance and installation (e.g., NFPA certification) is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
