Job Brief
As a Fire Controlman, you will be responsible for targeting, firing, and maintaining various weapons systems utilized in ground and naval combat operations. Responsibilities
- Target and engage enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels using advanced weapon systems.
- Conduct preventive and routine maintenance on artillery, missiles, and related equipment.
- Test, inspect, and store ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes in compliance with safety regulations.
- Establish and maintain effective radio and wire communications for operational readiness.
- Operate weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems to ensure precision in combat scenarios.
- Collaborate with other military personnel to strategize and execute tactical operations.
- Maintain a thorough understanding of combat procedures and weaponry advancements.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; military training in fire control operations preferred.
- Experience with artillery, missiles, and torpedoes in a military environment.
- Strong technical skills in operating and maintaining weapon systems and computer software.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, for coordinating with team members.
- Ability to work in high-pressure environments and make quick decisions.
- Current certifications in weapons handling and safety protocols required.
