Job Brief
As a Fire Control Technician, you will play a crucial role in targeting, firing, and maintaining a variety of weapons systems used to neutralize enemy positions, aircraft, and vessels. Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain field artillery, air defense systems, and naval artillery equipment.
- Conduct testing, inspection, and storage of ammunition, missiles, and torpedoes.
- Perform preventive and routine maintenance on weapons and related equipment.
- Establish and maintain radio and wire communications for effective operations.
- Utilize weapons targeting, firing, and launch computer systems for precision operations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure operational readiness and safety compliance.
- Document maintenance activities and report any malfunctions or concerns.
- Adhere to safety protocols and military regulations during all operations.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in firearms or related field preferred.
- Experience with military weapon systems, including artillery, missiles, and torpedoes.
- Proficiency in operating computer systems related to weapons targeting and launch.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and maintenance procedures in military operations.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective teamwork.
- Ability to work under pressure and in diverse environments.
- Certification in firearms handling and safety is an advantage.
