The Film Process Operator is responsible for developing and processing photographic images from both film and digital media. Responsibilities
- Develop and process photographic film and digital images using established techniques and tools.
- Edit and refine photographic negatives and prints, ensuring high-quality output.
- Operate and maintain processing equipment, including film development machines and digital scanners.
- Monitor quality control processes to ensure images meet specified standards.
- Collaborate with photographers and other team members to fulfill project requirements.
- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in photographic technology.
- Maintain accurate records of processed materials and manage inventory.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Film Process Operator or in a similar role within the photography industry.
- Strong understanding of photographic techniques, film processing, and image editing software.
- Familiarity with digital imaging technology and equipment.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
- Technical proficiency in software such as Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom is a plus.
- Relevant certifications in photography or imaging technology are preferred.
