Job Brief

The Expeditionary Fighting Vehicle (EFV) Crewman is responsible for operating advanced armored vehicles in diverse combat situations, both on land and in aquatic environments. This role requires specialized training in driving tanks, light armor, and amphibious assault vehicles, along with proficiency in operating and maintaining onboard communications, navigation equipment, and weapon systems. Ideal candidates will possess strong technical skills, military experience, and the ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maneuver Expeditionary Fighting Vehicles (EFVs) during combat operations in various terrains and conditions.
  • Conduct pre-mission checks and maintenance of armored vehicles to ensure optimal operational readiness.
  • Utilize advanced targeting and firing systems for effective engagement of targets.
  • Manage and operate auxiliary weapon systems, including machine guns and grenade launchers, in support of missions.
  • Transport personnel and equipment securely in combat scenarios while maintaining situational awareness.
  • Implement onboard communication and navigation systems to coordinate with team members and command units.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and operational procedures to minimize risk during missions.
  • Participate in training exercises to enhance skills and proficiency in vehicle operation and combat tactics.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; military training or experience preferred.
  • Completion of specialized training in armored vehicle operation and maintenance.
  • Strong understanding of targeting systems, weaponry, and communication technologies.
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in dynamic combat environments.
  • Valid driver’s license and relevant certifications for military vehicle operation.
  • Excellent teamwork and communication skills, with a focus on mission success.
  • Physical fitness to meet the demands of the role, including endurance and strength.
  • Willingness to work irregular hours and be deployed as needed.
