Job Brief

Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive technical documentation, including equipment manuals, operating procedures, and maintenance instructions.
- Collaborate with engineers and technical experts to gather information and ensure content accuracy.
- Create and maintain a consistent documentation style and format across all technical materials.
- Review and edit existing documentation to improve clarity, usability, and compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in layout work to enhance the presentation and readability of technical documents.
- Utilize content management systems and authoring tools to streamline documentation processes.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in technical writing and documentation.
- Ensure all documentation meets regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Technical Communication, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a technical writer or engineering writer, preferably in a technical or engineering environment.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and terminology.
- Proficient in using technical writing software and tools, such as MadCap Flare, Adobe FrameMaker, or Microsoft Word.
- Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to meet project deadlines.
- Familiarity with content management systems (CMS) and version control systems.
